If you do not want an early start to your boat trip, and so you can have a late breakfast, and avoid the 200 Baht national park fee, then consider Mr Khai's 3 island trip going every day to Koh Wai, Koh Klum and Koh Laoya.

This trip does not visit the National Park, so you're not experiencing the best snorkeling, but you'll nevertheless have a great day out at the 3 islands, each of which has beautiful beaches Pick up by taxi is at about 09:30, and you will be driven to Bang Bao fishing village then escorted to the end of the pier (Bang Bao pier is a must see anyway!) where you will be welcomed on board one of Mr Khai's colourful traditional style fishing boats.
The first island stop is Koh Laoya where you can enjoy the beach or swim in the clear water. The next stop is at the pier on Koh Wai where you can walk onto the island, visit the small resorts and the baby turtle farm. Following, there's a stop in the open water near to Koh Mai Dang for a spot of fishing. Following lunch on the boat, a stop off Koh Klum for snorkeling and maybe to swim to the beach.
Snorkeling equipment, and fishing gear are provided free of charge.The boat will arrive back on Koh Chang at about 4pm, so you'll be back at your resort at around 4:30pm.
This tour costs just 700 baht in the high season. Half price for children between 4 and 10 years in age. Infants of 3 years and below are free. Discounts are available in the low season and for big groups all year round. Please ask.
