Rodjanaphan have a number of traditional thai fishing boats docked at Bang Bao ready to take you for a few hours of fun filled fishing in the grounds to the west of Koh Chang.

Day trips start at 09:00hrs, the evening trip goes at 18:00hrs. Pick up by taxi is some time before that. The boats go from the pier at Bang Bao fisherman's village which is well worth a visit in it's own right. With any sort of fisherman's luck you should catch a selection of mullet, grouper, barracuda, tuna and mackerel. The evening trip will have you catching squid which will be attracted by the bright lights hanging from the boat's rigging. Anything you catch you can have cooked on the boat, or can take it back to your favorite restaurant for them to cook. If you're unlucky enough not to make a catch, then a meal and refreshments are provided on-board anyway.
The retail price is 1,500 but the trip is always available from us for 1,300 Baht.
