The Blue Lagoon Cooking Cooking school is located at the Blue Lagoon Resort in Klong Prao and has been in business since the year 2000. Here you will learn about growing Thai ingredients, preparing them, cooking them, and presenting them in the traditional Thai style. The Thai Cooking School at Klong Plu is located close to the waterfall and has been in business since the year 2003. If you're looking for a short course, then most days they run morning, afternoon and evening classes. You will experience Thai food in all its varieties, learning traditional preparation and cooking methods, then savoring the spicy aromas and delightful flavors.

The Napalai Thai Cooking School is relatively new, having arrived here in 2013, but we always receive good feedback from our clients. They run a schedule of 3 classes most days, morning, afternoon and evening classes and their afternoon class is value for money at just 1,000THB.

Mr Khai takes one of his traditional thai style wooden boats to the squidding grounds to the west of Bang Bao every evening. This cheap and cheerful trip is just 700 Baht per person and a packed meal is included.

For the cheapest trip to 5 islands, consider taking the snorkeling tour run by Perm Poon Sub. In 2010, the same boat was doing a 4 islands tour. The boat has now been upgraded, and has some comfy chairs and cooling fans in an enclosed area. The boat still has sun decks also, so you can easily top up your sun tan.
