A new trek for 2015 - Raht has discontinued the trek in the South of Koh Chang (Kongoi jungle) and has now finalized the route which heads up into the hills over Kai Bae in the direction of Lonely Beach up to a height of about 250 meters.
Key Points: Pick up time: 08:20. Drop off time: 16:00. Lunch provided. Price: 850THB. Kids reductions: usually. Days: daily except Friday.
The trek lasts between 5 and 6 hours, is about 7KM and you'll be trekking, swimming, swinging like Tarzan, and jumping over obstacles. Loads of flora and fauna to see - snakes, large spiders, reptiles, monkeys, wild pigs. Great views of the west coast of the island. Cost 850 Baht.
On request, Raht makes a 3rd trek extending this standard Kai Bae trek further and higher (7 hours and 500 meters) - the "Kai Bae Horseshoe" as he calls it. Please ask us for a booking - this one costs 1,200 Baht.
