Schedule and prices for ferries and speedboats
Here you will find our consolidated table showing times and prices for all of the routes between Koh Chang, her neighboring islands (Koh Wai, Koh Mak, Koh Kood, Koh Rayang, Koh Kham), and the mainland (Trat, Laem Sok, Laem Ngop). You can book any of these routes from us before you arrive on Koh Chang by contacting us, or when you are here, by visiting our office.
How to use this page. Decide where you need to take a boat to. Look for the table for boat services to that destination (select Koh Kood, Koh Mak, Koh Wai, Koh Chang, or Trat). Then select your starting place and read across for the service type, times and price. A number of different services are represented on each route, so you may find different prices and travel times for any route. Trat can mean any mainland pier that serves the islands (3 different piers in Laem Ngop and Laem Sok). For all routes to and from Trat we will give you directions to or from the particular pier. Or ask us about transfer to or from that pier.
If you need a transfer to or from Koh Kham or Koh Rayang, then use Koh Mak as a destination or start place. The prices and times are the same - there may just be an additional hop between the island and Koh Mak - usually arranged by your resort on the island. Or, in the case of most speedboats, you can be picked up or dropped at the island directly by the service.
Please note, this timetable is effective for the high season only - that's approximately 1st November until 5th May. There will be some curtailment of services close to those dates. If you need a boat transfer during the low season then contact us. All transfers are still doable though cancellations do occur in bad weather !Scheduled low season services include routes between Koh Chang and Koh Kood, Koh Kood and Koh Mak, Trat and Koh Mak, Trat and Koh Kood, Koh Chang and Koh Wai. Boats to Koh Kood
Arrivals on Koh Kood: Speedboat will drop you at the pier at (or closest to) your resort. Wooden boat, fast ferry and Catamaran will drop you at Ao Nid pier. Taxi will then take you to your resort.

Getting to your Boat
Departures from Koh Chang: Free taxi service will collect you from your west coast resort 20-60 minutes prior to boat start time. West coast resorts only.
Departures from Koh Wai: Speedboat will meet you at your resort's pier. Wooden boat - ask your resort to get you to the Pakarang pier.
Departures from Koh Mak: Ask your resort to re-confirm your pick up by free taxi, or to deliver you to the pier (show them your ticket).
Departures from Koh Kood: Speedboat will meet you at your resort's pier, or at the closest pier (check with your resort prior to departure). Wooden Boat, catamaran or Fast Ferry: ask your resort to re-confirm your pick up by free taxi.
Departures from Trat: Catamaran and Fast Ferry - free taxi included from Trat hotels. Speedboats - make your own way to the correct pier (we will give you details).
Children's Prices
Wooden boats and speedboats between the islands, not the mainland: Kids aged 2 and under are free when seated on your lap. Half price for kids aged 3,4,5,6,7 and 8 years. 9 years and above pay full price.
Speedboats between the islands and the mainland: Kids below 1 meter in height are free. Kids between 1 and 1.3 meters in height pay 300 baht. Height over 1.3 meters pay full price.
Catamaran, all routes: Kids aged 4 and under are free. 5 years and above pay full price.
Fast ferries between the islands and the mainland: Kids aged 3 and under are free. 4 years and above pay full price.

Connections from/to Bangkok and Pattaya
Transfers between the Trat piers and Bangkok or Pattaya can be arranged by us also. Ask us for a private transfer to co-ordinate with your boat transfer. The catamaran service for Koh Kood and Koh Mak also has a linked joining bus service to Pattaya and Bangkok (Kao San Road). The one-way price between Bangkok or Pattaya and Koh Kood is 900THB. Between Bangkok or Pattaya and Koh Mak it's 800THB.
