The taxi boats between Koh Chang and the outer islands of Koh Wai, Koh Mak and Koh Kood, are not running in the low season. It's possible to reach Koh Wai off one of our snorkeling trips, but in order to reach Koh Mak and Koh Kood you will need to catch a boat from the Laem Ngop pier on the mainland. A provisional timetable exists, applicable up until 30th September 2010, as follows:
Depart Laem Ngop for Ao Nid, Koh Mak: 12:30 (Friday and Saturday), 14:00 (every day), 16:00 (Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu).
Depart Ao Nid, Kok Mak for Laem Ngop: 08:00, 11:00 (every day).
