Probably the most popular luxury cruise running from Koh Chang is the 3 islands trip by the Thai Fun boat. Great service by the English and German speaking crew, and great food too. You'll be picked up by their small boat from the beach of your resort, so unlike most trips, there's no taxi to Bang Bao - you start cruising straight away! One of a few boats that goes to Koh Mak, she visits Koh Wai and Koh Rang also. Bangkok to Koh Chang door-to-door transfer service
Using our joining minibus service you'll be picked up at your Bangkok Hotel and taken direct to your Resort on Koh Chang. No extras like Bangkok Taxi to the airport (300 baht) and Trat Airport Minibus (400 baht+). The complete price, door to door, is now just 850 baht per person, and this can often be faster than the door-to-door price when flying Bangkok to Trat. There's 1 departure a day, at around 8:30am, and the total transfer time is around 6 to 7 hours, inclusive of ferry waiting and sailing time. Most other buses booked from Bangkok WILL NOT take you onto the island. Ours will. There is a surcharge to the quoted price if your resort on Koh Chang is "out of the way", eg East coast, or south of Kai Bae.  Elephant Trekking in Klong Prao or in the Klong Son Jungle.
Probably the most popular activity on Koh Chang is the elephant trek. One hour and two hour treks are available every day, and usually you can book for today if you come and see us in the morning. Choose from one of the local camps at Klong Prao, or take the 30 minute taxi ride (provided free) to the Ban Kwan Chang camp which is in the jungle off the Klong Son Valley in the north of the island.  Cross Koh Chang from west coast to east coast!
Previously it was only possible to make the cross island trek with an overnight camp included. Owing to popular demand, and now that there is a well marked route, it is now possible to make this trip in one day. The jungle fever guides are making this trek most days with small groups (6 maximum). Booking early is recommended, as this is proving to be a popular trek already. Private Transfers to Koh Chang
If you want the flexibility of your own departure time and to be in control of stopping times during your journey, then a private minibus or saloon car transfer may be what you're looking for. Prices between Bangkok and Koh Chang start at just 3,900 Baht, and this includes the ferry ticket(s) and is a door-to-door service. Koh Chang/Pattaya price starts at 3,400 Baht. The bigger your group, the more sense it makes - for example a group of 5 Bangkok to Koh Chang will usually pay less than 5 people in the joining door-to-door minibus service (4,500 Baht). Extreme Snorkeling ! All day 5 islands by Speedboat.
Good underwater visibility and not much rain anymore, so for the most snorkeling time in the best spots around the Koh Rang group in the Koh Chang marine national park, the 5 islands snorkeling speedboats are going every day, and the trip lasts from 9am until 4pm, and costs 1,000 Baht per person. There's also a 3 island trip running from 10am till 4pm at 800 Baht. If you have a large group of people, then the same trips can be done privately from just 6,500 Baht upwards. Just back from the boat yard at Trat where she was prepared and renovated for the new season, our boat is now available for private charter. She can be yours for the day from just 3,500 Baht. That's the price for up to 15 people to go to Koh Youak for the day. Other trips possible by this boat: 5,000 Baht to Koh Chang Noi. 6,000 Baht, both Koh Youak and Chang Noi. 6,000 Baht Koh Wai. Look at our Minibus and Big bus transfers page and you might notice that we have reduced a number of prices for our one-way transfers from Koh Chang to Cambodia. You dont need the best weather conditions for fishing trips to the seas off the South West coast of Koh Chang, and they're going every day throughout the low season. You can go either in the daytime, or for some evening fishing, when you'll be catching your squid to be used later as live bait. Food is provided on both trips.
