One of our favorites, this one. Pakarang means Coral, and there is plenty to see off the seashore of Koh Wai. If you want to spend a couple of nights away from it all then the Koh Wai Pakarang Resort might be the place for you. The small island of Koh Wai is just a 20 minute speedboat ride from Koh Chang. The resort is one of only two on the island. So you can sometimes have the island to yourself! There are around 20 bungalows on the resort. They range in price from 600 baht to 2,500 baht per night per bungalow. Some of the bunglaows will accommodate 4 people in 2 rooms. Cheaper bungalows are fan only, but they all have their own bathrooms. AC bungalows have hot water too. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere in the restaurant and lounge area. Kayaks and snorkelling equipment are available for rent from the resort. Koh Wai is served by taxi speed boats and wooden boats from Koh Chang - we can arrange those for you too.
