25th April. Every year in Thailand, a few days after new years day, threre is a Songkran parade in each town. Every neighborhood or many local businesses decorate a car with Buddhist symbols or local symbols (buffalo, restaurant, snake, fish, elephant, and so on...) depending on the area. All decorated cars make a parade to the main local temple to participate in a contest. The hotels and businesses of Koh Chang have all made their own entries this year and were passing our shop today on their way to the Klong Prao temple. Some examples can be found on this
