Weather Report
Ahem... I said this last month, but... At last we believe that the rainy season has finished! After a hideous early October that saw torrential rain and mud-slides with collapsed roads, and downed electricity and telephone cables, we've had some calm weather for a few days, and today was a great sunny day. For a more detailed weather history please look at our daily weather reports which we have been writing since October 2009.
If you're thinking of coming to Koh Chang in the next few days, then look for yourself through our webcam for the weather as it is right now, and view the weather images page for an idea about weather on Koh Chang in the recent past. Our weather report and forecast page now contains our own daily weather updates, 4 hourly weather recordings from the Trat station of the Thai Meteorological Department, as well as the current 10 day forecast from MSN.
The season
A decent start to the beginning of the new high season with more visitors than at the same time last year for sure. New tours and old favorite tours are starting up again, some with upgrades, some just the same. A few resorts and tours are still charging low-season prices, until November 1st, so check (with us) before bookng.
