Weather Report
We'd normally be expecting loads of rain at this time of year, but, If anything, the weather has improved in the past 10 days. Lots of good sunshine, and very little rain, just one day out of the last 10 with any significant water from the sky. Typically, cloudy in the mornings, then clearer in the afternoons, with temperatures reaching almost 40C. The sea is uncomfortably hot close to shore, and underwater visibility is moderate, maybe 10 meters at maximum. The season
Another Thai holiday weekend is in progress, and there are quite a few Thais visiting the island for a short break, but they tend not to stay on the beaches, so can have Klong Prao Beach almost all to yourself. Any toubles festering on the streets of Bangkok have no effect on Koh Chang and we advise our customers to avoid Bangkok city, and if staying in Bangkok overnight, to use a hotel close to the airport.
