Weather Report
There has been some rain on one or two days and at night time over the past couple of weeks, but overall the weather has remained good and possibly unseasonably dry with long periods of hot sunshine. There's been little wind to speak of, and sea conditions have mainly been calm, and underwater visibility has generally been reported by our snorkelers and divers as very good. Temperatures have been reaching almost 38C in the afternoons on some days, and sea temperatures just feel hot! Humidity sometimes feels uncomfortable as we approach the Thai New Year, which traditionally is when the rainy season can be expected to begin. For more a more detailed weather story please look at our daily weather reports which we have been writing since October 2009.

The season
We're having a strong end of season. Some of the popular resorts remain full, and now we're in the run-up to the Thai new year, the next week will continue in this vein. The protests in Bangkok are having zero effect on Koh Chang, and we advise customers returning via Bangkok airport to take a hotel close to the airport, rather than in the city. We can help you with your Bangkok hotel booking.
