Weather Report
It is the Chinese New Year next week, so it will be busy on Koh Chang then, but for now it's quiet here and you may find some good walk-in prices at most hotels. Since our last update 3 weeks ago, there has been a little rain on some nights, and the days have been partly cloudy, but dry, with little wind, and calm seas. Temperatures have been reaching at least 30 degrees by midday, every day. Sea conditions have been very calm, and underwater visibility is variable, but one diver did tell me of the best visibility he has ever encountered, at around 35 meters. Klong Plu waterfall still has a good flow, and the plunge pools are full enough for you to take a cooling swim. For more a more detailed weather story please look at our daily weather reports which we have been writing since October 2009.
