Weather Report
The first week of November has seen the onset of the windy monsoon period, where Koh Chang receives a dose of dry wind from a North Easterly direction. The winds generally blow overnight and they usually blow themselves out by mid-morning. To go with the cooling wind we've had pretty well unbroken sunshine for a few days now. You can see our more detailed daily weather comments here.
Depite the wind, the on-shore sea has been calm for a few days, but there were reports of a 3 meter swell in the deeper waters to the south. We're getting some pretty high tides at around midday at the moment, so the beach varies from almost non-existant to very narrow during the late morning. We expect to have some water inside our shop on the 7th (if the tide tables are to be believed!).
