Hot with misty sunshine and partial cloud cover. Afternoon temperatures are as high as 35 degrees. At night time, the temperature falls to around 21 degrees. Very little wind, day or night. There has been no noticable rain at Klong Prao for at least 4 weeks. The sea around Koh Chang is warm, and fairly clear. Around the islands to the south, the sea is very clear, and snorkeling conditions are excellent. Visibility is reported as around 20 meters in most dive spots south of Koh Chang.

Royal coconut resort

Work is in progress on constructing 10 new bungalows on the beach next to our shop. Some of them will have good sea views and are at the top of the sandy beach just 10 meters from the usual high water mark. It appears as if these could be ready by around the end of February. If you're interested in booking one of these for March onwards, then please let us know.
