Coco Dee Bo Tours Koh Chang

Mount Jom (Khao Jom) is the 630 meter peak that overlooks White Sands Beach. We will take you to the summit of this peak, only if you think you are up to the challenge! The terrain, heat and humidity will ensure that you are stretched to your very limit.

Your guide on this trek is Mr Tan. The trek begins in the flat fruit orchards of the Klong Son Valley. Soon we will be climbing Khao Chedi, and following on, the higher mountain of Khao Jom. We have the chance to spot some wild life on the way up; monkeys and for sure, numerous lizards, snakes and exotic insects. Wild boar live up here too, and Mr Tan will show you the traps that have been set for these by the local hunters. Mr Tan never misses a thing, and is sure to point out to you everything of interest that he spots. Once you reach the summit of Mt Jom, you will be rewarded with a stunning view accross the jungle clad hills and valleys of Koh Chang. With luck you'll spot some of the bird life such as hornbills and eagles. You will have lunch on the summit and afterwards you'll head downwards via a waterhole in the jungle where you can take a refreshing swim in the cooling waters. Then there's another short walk to where the car is waiting to take you back to your rersort.

This trek includes transportation, lunch, fruit, lots of water to drink, and a back-pack. The National Park fee is included too. Appropriate footware is essential, and you should also bring some mosquito repellent, sun cream, a swimming costume, a towel and light clothing.

This tour usually goes on Wednesdays and Sundays, but on request this can be changed to another day.
