The Sea Hunter Fishing Company runs a well equipped fast fishing boat that departs twice a day from Bang Bao, sailing to the most accessible, but fruitful, fishing grounds located to the South West of Koh Chang. Given "fisherman's luck", you should be able to catch some nice specimens of grouper, longtail tuna, red snapper, king mackerel, or barricuda.

In the evening trip, after darkness has fallen, you will catch squid, attracted by the ship's bright lights, and you will then use the live squid as bait.

The Sea Hunter boat, the Julia White One, is 20 meters long, and is equipped with GPS and a fish finding sensor. The captain and crew know the Koh Chang waters, having fished here many years. They have English and Russian speaking guides available.

Lunch, or an evening meal, with soft drinks and coffee or tea, and drinking water is served on board. Hopefully you will have just caught your own dinner! They have an air-conditioned cabin with comfortable seating for relaxation.

Day time departure is 9:00AM, night time departure is 6:00PM. Taxi service pick-up is included, and from the Chai Chet area, that is usually 45 minutes before those times. Normal price is 1,300 Baht. Discounts are sometimes availble from us.

The company will also do 3 night expeditions into the open sea of the Gulf of Thailand. They have 2 air-conditioned sleeping births, accommodating up to 12 guests. Please give us a few days notice if you wish to book this one.
